Sunset and Sunrise times

The Sabbath and other Jewish holidays begin at sundown. Traditionally, candles are lit 18 minutes before sundown, and all work ceases until 42 minutes after sundown the following evening. You can find the candlelighting times in a Jewish calendar, or sunset times in your local newspaper -- or here, on the Internet, courtesy of the U.S. Naval Observatory.
